Hi everyone! It's Celes here ;) and I'm back with a new idea for Christmas... The Happy Holidays collection got me in LOVE. Can't stop creating with it and always trying to make the most of each material in the collection.
This time I have a very special idea for you all: let's make a countdown to Christmas or Advent Calendar with our most special memories of each day... This will give us the possibility to value all those little things that we experience day by day.
To make this idea we are going to use: the Foldable Shaker Tags set + the Shaker Tags set. We are going to combine them to create tag pages for each day (and they will have a pocket for photos). I decided to cut them in white cardstock. Also, we will be using the 6 x 6 paper pad from the Happy Holidays collection to make small poccket for the back of each tag.
I love the new Ornaments set so I decided to use it for this idea. I used the Ornaments Hot Foil Plate and Ornaments Die with my Glimmer Hot Foil System. And also I used the Ornaments Stencils to give them the layered color. First I prepared the ornaments with my Glimmer Hot Foil System machine and the Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Gold. Then, I used my premium dye Ink pads: Lemon Whip, Sweet Mustard, Peach Fuzz, Olive, Fresh Pear, Aquamarine, Sky Blue, Storm, Slumber, Coral Reef, Passion Fruit, Berrylicius.
When assembling the tags it is important to leave a pocket to be able to place the photos with a handle and that they can be seen through the window of the tag.
Once we have all tags, we can dedecorate them with the ornaments, some numbers (you can die cut them or cut them with your cutting machine). In the back pockets of the tags we will place tags from the Tag Ephemera pack, the Ephemera pack and the Journaling Bits pack. We can use them to write the memories of that day.
And since we cannot miss a detail of brightness... the Metallic Pearls: Gold are perfect for that... don't you think? ;)
Once all our pages are ready, we can place them on a paper ring and add a lovely detail preparing a special pendant with ribbons and tassels.
What do you think of the idea? Isn't she lovely?
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you like this idea ;)
See you next time! :)
