So Festive Layout | Brianna Lepper

So Festive Layout | Brianna Lepper

Hey friends!!  Brianna Lepper here and I can't believe it's already December!  Who is ready for the holidays?  I know we are!  I'm so excited to share another layout with you today using the super gorgeous Happy Holidays collection.  Here's my page:

To start, I went through the patterned papers and got a couple out that matched my photo.  My boys were in Las Vegas for Thanksgiving and took this photo while they were out there.  I just had to scrap it!  I went ahead and tore the papers on both sides so that they could have that rough edge on top and bottom.  I am such a fan of a torn edge!

Before adhering the papers down, I took the Slumber ink cube and watercolored it on to some white cardstock.  I wanted a subtle hint of blue and love how soft it came out.  To add some sparkle, I spread on some Stickles gel from my stash that has some gold stars in it.  Fun!

The new Jeff Alpha Dies are amazing and I really wanted to create my title with them.  So I took the cover page of the 12x12 paper pack, trimmed out the squares and die cut the letters using each square.  You know I love to incorporate those squares into my pages so I thought this would be a fun idea.  I'm loving the small patterns showing through with each letter.

I popped up each letter and arranged them in a fun way right under my photo.  I even built a cluster to the bottom right of my title, allowing the viewer to be drawn to the entire page.  I used a few Ephemera pieces and some Puffy Stickers.

For my photo cluster, I layered a Journaling Bit behind it and added some ribbon from my stash for some extra color and texture.  I also added a Chipboard Frame that I cut in half so that each side could peek out from the top and bottom.   Then I layered a few Ephemera pieces under and around my photo.

This collection has so many fun elements to it.  Since I added gold to my page, I thought the gold foil snowflakes would be a fun addition.

For a finishing touch, I sprinkled in a few Enamel Dots and added some tangled thread in a few areas.  Here's one last look at this fun, Christmas page.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way!  Do you like to use the cover page of the 12x12 paper pack?  You should try using the squares to die cut your title or other fun shapes out of them!  See you in my next post friends!

xo Brianna
