Happy Thursday, Pinkfresh friends! Yasmin here sharing with you an extra textured “Wreath” inspiration card made using, Indigo Vines Layering Stencil Set, Indigo Vines Stamp Set, Indigo Vines Die, English Garden Layering Stencil Set, English Garden Stamp Set and English Garden Die to create the floral wreath and vines. Along with this beautiful sets, I’ve also used Slim Stripes Die Set to add the textured striped background and Essentials Stitched Scallop Circle Die Set to create the die-cutting scalloped frame to mount the wreath. Besides that, I’ve used as well Metallic Pearls -Gold for the card embellishment + PFS- Inks to add a pop of color to the flowers and leaves. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it.

Therefore, I started off by cutting in half an 8-1/2 x 11-1/2 inches white cardstock sheet using my paper trimmer and then, I went ahead to place one of the half pieces of cardstock over my Make Art - Stay-tion. Next, as soon as I got the cardstock piece onto place, I went ahead to line up the stencil #1 from Indigo Vines Layering Stencil Set to start off the ink up for the vines.

Thus, as soon as I got the first stencil line up over my board, I went ahead to ink up the vines through the stencil with an ink blending brush using Fresh Pear Ink. Next, to keep going with the layered stenciling, I used stencil #2 along with Grassy Knoll Ink to ink up the detailed layer for the leaves. And then, I used stencil #3 along with Soft Lilac Ink + stencil #4 along with Candy Violet Ink to ink up the small flowers and their detailed layer.

So, soon after that I’ve had finished the layered stenciling for the vines using every single stencil from the set, I’ve gone ahead to set the inked cardstock piece off to the side and then, I repeated the same steps to ink up the larger flowers and leaves, but this time using the other half of the white cardstock along with English Garden Layering Stencil Set. Having that said, this stencil set include 6 stencils, so I went ahead to ink up the leaves using Grassy Knoll Ink, Fresh Pear Ink and a touch of Olive Ink. Then, to ink up the larger flowers I used Peach Fuzz Ink and Warm Buff Ink + Soft Lilac Ink and Candy Violet Ink.

Moving on, after I had finished the layered stenciling for the flowers and leaves, I’ve gone ahead to line up over each inked panel their coordinating stamps, which happen to be Indigo Vines Stamp Set and English Garden Stamp Set to get their outlined images stamped using embossing ink as I wanted to heat emboss them using, gold embossing powder along with my heat embossing gun tool to heat set the powder. Therefore, after I’ve had finished the stamping and heat embossing steps, I quickly went ahead to line up over each cardstock panel their coordinating dies which happen to be Indigo Vines Die and English Garden Die to die-cut each vine, floral cluster and wreath out them. Nevertheless, as soon as I’ve had finished die-cutting each piece using their coordinating dies along with my die-cut machine, I proceeded to set them off aside, so I could start the card assembling.

For the card assembling, I went ahead to create a textured-striped background in a diagonal form. So, to do that I went ahead adhere down over an A2 size white card panel in diagonal form the die-cutting stripes which I’ve had previously die-cut out of white cardstock using the dies including in Slim Stripes Die Set. As you can see after I’ve had created a diagonal-striped pattern over the card panel using the die-cutting stripes, I went ahead to adhere down some skinny die-cutting gold stripes as well to add a pop of gold to it. So, once I had finished the textured card background, I went ahead to trim off the edges a bit smaller than the card base and then, I got the backing of it adhere down with double-sided adhesive to an A2 top folding white card base. Lastly, to keep up with the card assembling, I went ahead to mount with a skinny piece of craft foam adhesive the scalloped frame over the card to add a bit of dimension. A scalloped frame which I’ve had previously die-cut out of white cardstock using the largest die including in Essentials Stitched Scallop Circle Die Set. And, after having the scalloped frame mounted over the card, I got glue down the backing of the wreath over it. As for the wreath, I used the wreath included in Indigo Vines Set and then, I finished the wreath off by mounting some floral clusters and extra leaves over the wreath to add more dimension and for a fuller look.

Finally, to finish the card off, I went ahead to mount the card sentiment in the center of the wreath. A sentiment, which I’ve had stamp and gold heat embossing over a piece of white cardstock using one of the sentiments including in English Garden Stamp Set, which by the way, right after that I had it stamped and heat emboss I got it as well fussy cut out from the cardstock using a small pair of scissors.
