Happy Monday, friends! Dee here and today, I’m excited to be sharing this elegant and spotlight-colored card featuring the Best of Everything Floral stamp and coordinating stencils!

To begin, I stamped and heat embossed the Best of Everything Floral stamp twice in gold, setting one aside and coloring the second one using the coordinating stencils. For this step, I used ink colors in Candy Violet, Soft Lilac, Raspberry Bliss, Apricot, and Sunshine for the flowers and Tidal Pond and Blue Jay for the leaves. Once dry, I die cut it with the Ornate Oval Frame die using only the inner oval portion (and saving the frame for a future card!) Next, I cut the other embossed image with the Stitched Rectangle die then adhered the oval colored piece to the center using foam tape, carefully placing it to ensure that the image lined up perfectly! 

To add more detail, I cut leaves from the Leafy Branch die, heat embossed them with the same gold powders, and tucked them in, framing the colored oval florals. For the sentiment, I stamped and heat embossed ‘Happy Birthday’ from the Happy Birthday Sentiments stamp set, die cut it with the coordinating dies and adhered it after adding some gold thread as an extra touch. 

To finish, I added small Metallic Gold Pearls to each of the leaves and adhered the card onto top-folding, A2-sized card base! I hope you like this golden birthday card and found some inspiration today!
