Hi,  Pinkfresh friends!  Hope you and your family are doing well and having lovely holidays! It’s TaeEun here today sharing a couple of holiday cards in totally different looks.

The first one is a cute and fresh slimline holiday card in pastel which is featuring Cloud Builder Slimline stencil from our December Release paired with the cute sleigh from Sleigh Bells Ring stamp set.

I started by ink blending the pastel rainbow clouds in the background using Cloud Builder Slimline Stencil. I used Sky Blue, Sparkling Rose, Sunshine, Grassy Knoll and Soft Lilac from top to bottom.

I stamped the sleigh from Sleigh Bells Ring set in Soft Lilac and Lavender. When I stamped it in Lavender I washed off the ink from the top of the sleigh to stamp it in ombre. I stamped the critters in Detail Black and cut the image using the coordinating die. The bells were stamped in Rocky Slope and the little bird in Lavender, Marigold, Sparkling Rose and Sapphire.

To make the balloons I ink blended a piece of white cardstock in Soft Lilac, Sparkling Rose and Sunshine and cut the circles and tiny triangles from it. I silver heat embossed the sentiment from Sleigh Bells Ring set on the pink balloon.

I framed the background panel with Slim Stitched Scallop Rectangle and mounted it on a white slimline cardbase. I added the balloons and the sleigh with the silver thread as strings. The bells and birds were then added to the card and some purple and pink Jewels.

The second card was inspired by our December challenge! The challenge theme for December is All Things Holiday ! I made a gift card holder holiday card using the Fillable Gift Card Holder die in Red, Blue and gold which I picked from the color palette of the challenge Graphic.

I started by making the background panel for my card. I applied clear water on a watercolor paper panel and colored the left part of it in Candy Apple and Bubble Gum liquid watercolor using wet on wet coloring technique. After the panel was dry I cut it using the Fillable Gift Card Holder die with the leafy cut-out pattern. I white heat embossed the sentiment from Our Home to Yours set on the bottom part of the panel where the gift card would be placed.

I ink blended a white cardbase in Coral Reef and Candy Apple to continue the watercolored area of the front panel in the open elements of it. I adhered the front panel on the cardbase and set it aside.

Next I cut the Dainty Blossoms from white cardstock,  watercolor paper and some gold foil cardstock. I colored the die cut pieces from watercolor paper in Sapphire liquid watercolor and let it dry. I arranged the white, sapphire and gold Dainty blossoms on the card as shown in the picture and added three metallic gold Jewels on the card to finish it off.

This challenge closes on Dec. 29th at 11:59pm CST! One cardmaking entry and one memory-keeping entry will receive a $50 gift card to the Pinkfresh Studio Store! The two winners will be randomly selected based on these two categories.
