Happy Wednesday, Pinkfresh friends! Yasmin here sharing with you a very subtle yet “Colorful” handmade card using the wonderful Layered Sunburst Stencil Set. Along with this beautiful die set I’m also using Just Because Stamp Set, Just Because Die and PFS- Inks. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it.

To begin with, I started by lining up over an A2 white card panel the Stencil #1 from Layered Sunburst Stencil Set. Therefore, after I had them both line up, I went ahead to ink up the white card panel over the stencil using an ink blending brush along with Ballet Slipper Ink which, it happens to be the lightest color from this colorful combination.

Thus, after I’ve got the first inking step done over the card panel, I went ahead to line up the Stencil #2 from the set and I’ve gotten the ink blending done using, Coral Reef Ink as my medium tone color so, on and so forth I continued the ink blending using the Stencil #3 along with Marigold Ink as my darker color. That said, after I’ve had finished the ink blending over the card panel, I went ahead to set it aside to let the inks soak into the paper.

Meanwhile, I went ahead to get the stamping and heat embossing done, so to do that, I went ahead to stamp with embossing ink over a large piece of translucent vellum the floral image from Just Because Stamp Set. Next, for the heat embossing, I’ve used Opaque Bright White embossing powder and my Heat Embossing Gun Tool. Therefore, after I’ve gotten it heated emboss, I went ahead to die-cut the floral image out of the translucent vellum using Just Because Die which happens to be its coordinating die. Thereafter that, I’ve had finished the die-cutting for the floral image, I went ahead to set it off to the side while, I’ve gone ahead to get 2 sentiments from the stamp set stamped and heated embossing over a small piece of white cardstock which soon after that I’ve gotten the heat embossing done, I got them fussy cut (as shown in the image above) out of the cardstock using a small pair of scissors.

Last but not least after I’ve finished the fussy cutting out, I went ahead to add the diagonal stitching detail to the card panel which combined perfectly well afterwards with the Sunburst inking. Therefore, to finish the card off, I went ahead to mount with craft foam tape the inked card panel to an A2 top folding white card base. Then, I went ahead to mount with craft foam tape the sentiment over the die-cutting floral image (as shown in the image above) which not only added dimension but, also helped me out to get the die-cutting floral image adhered to the card panel.
