Hi Pinkfresh friends!

Angela here, and today I've got a clean and simple card to share featuring a mix of new and older Pinkfresh Studio products. If you, like me, enjoy a bright white aesthetic with some bright pops of color, I think you're going to be a fan of this one.

This card began with the floral elements, which come from the recently-released Beautiful Blooms stamp set. In this set you'll find several little bits of foliage, and the flowers you see here were definitely my favorite of the bunch. I stamped the image twice, then used the coordinating Beautiful Blooms stencils to color them in with inks in Sparkling Rose and Evergreen. One of the things I adore about layering stencils is that you don't need to use a different shade of ink for each color. Here, I've simply stuck to those two colors, but applied the ink with a bit of a heavier hand as I moved on through the stencils. You can still create plenty of visual depth with this method, so don't worry if you don't have 5 shades of pink ink!

After the stenciling was complete, I cut out the two clusters with the coordinating Beautiful Blooms die and set them aside while I worked on the other elements. For the background, I used the Diagonal Stitched Plaid Die to cut a white panel trimmed to 3.75 x 5", then used the Blanket Stitched Rectangles to create a white frame from an A2 card panel. While all this die cutting was happening, I also used the Curvy Foliage Die to cut a large sprig that I placed in the background for a bit of extra visual interest.

Moving on to the sentiment, I've been reaching for the Fancy Script Words Hot Foil Plate to create sentiments for 99.9% of my cards lately, so I figured, why stop now!? I picked a simple 'hello', foiled it in gold, and then used the coordinating die to cut another 4 layers from white cardstock. Earlier on in my crafty life I would have just popped my die cut sentiment forward on foam strips, but lately I've swapped that in favor of using my liquid glue pen to stick stacked sentiments on top of each other. It takes a little bit longer, but the result is a chipboard-like sentiment that's more sturdy and holds up a lot better in the mail.

Finally, it was time for assembly. I used foam tape to line the back of my border, then mounted it on the Diagonal Stitched Plaid panel. The floral elements tucked nicely into the corners, and to finish, I secured the sentiment near the bottom right and added a few Metallic Gold Pearls to the flower centers.

Thanks so much for checking out this card today. If it's left you feeling inspired to create, I'd love to see what you make. Be sure to tag me, @mycraftyperspective, and @pinkfreshstudio so we can see your gorgeous cards. Happy crafting, and I'll see you back here soon!
