Happy Tuesday, Pinkfresh friends! Yasmin here sharing with you a very fun “Floral Wreath” encouragement shaped inspiration card made with lots of dimension and a spinning touch using: In the Meadows Washi Tape and In the Meadows Die for the floral touch. Also, Fancy Script Words Hot Foil and Fancy Script Words Die for the card sentiment . And, last but not least, Essentials Folk Edge Circle Die Set for the circle shape. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it.

Therefore, I started off creating the easel shape base, so to do that, I went ahead to place an A2 size heavy weight white card panel over my scoring board in a landscaping way and then, I proceeded to trace a scoring line at the 2-3/4” inches mark. Next, after adding the scoring line, I went ahead to use my Teflon bone folder to reinforce the folds and then, I used a pencil and a ruler to mark 1-1/4 of an inch to each side of the top part of the card base.

Thus, as soon as, I’ve had finished marking them out, I went ahead to use my paper trimmer to cut down in angle way both parts of the base from the marked points to the bottom corners of the base, to create the easel shape.

I would like to recommend, you to use 110lb or heavier weight cardstock as the base, nut if happens that you don’t have that kind of cardstock, you can add a pop-up piece and placed it inside the base to reinforce it to avoid the card to slide down and not maintaining it standing up with the easel effect due the weight from the floral arrangement from the wreath and movement from the spinning effect.

Having that said, I used the larger die including in Essentials Folk Edge Circle Die Set to cut out a white circle from white cardstock, to make it easy to arrange the floral wreath around it. But before getting the wreath arranged over it, I went ahead to add the spinning effect to it by marking the center of it with a pencil, and then by perforating a hole in the center of the die-cutting circle and top part of the easel base, so to do that, I used a paper perforator tool and then, I used a small brad to hold them in together for the spinning effect. As you can see in the image above, the brad is hidden inside the easel card for a finishing cleaner look.

Thus, to create the floral wreath, I used one of my favorite washi tapes from Pinkfresh which it’s In the Meadows Washi Tape along with its coordinating In the Meadows Die to die-cut each floral piece. By now, I’m sure you’re pretty much familiar for how Pinkfresh Washi-Tape Rolls With Coordinating Dies work so, I will skip that step this time.

Moving on, I went ahead to cut the washi design three times to get as many floral pieces as possible for a fuller looking wreath. Then, I went ahead to follow the circle shape from the die-cutting white circle to create the wreath by gluing down some of the floral pieces with liquid glue and by getting mounted with some of them foam square adhesives each floral piece over it until I’ve got a dimensional pretty and fuller looking wreath.

Lastly, after getting the wreath mounted over the die-cutting circle, I went ahead to finish the card off by mounting the sentiment. A hot foil stamping and die cutting sentiment which, I’ve had previously create using one of the sentiments and coordinating die including in Fancy Script Words Hot Foil and Fancy Script Words Die. Then as a finishing touch, I went ahead to glue down here and there some of the Metallic Pearls -Gold not only to add an extra pop of shine to the card but to blend in the gold brad that was popping out in the middle of the card as well.
