Hello Paperlovers,
So happy to see you here and welcome to the Pinkfresh blog today. It's Josefine here sharing a new scrapbook layout with you. I used the beautiful Pinkfresh Studio collection “Happy Heart” I totally adore this collection.
I was inspired by June's Moodboard and I incorporated rainbow colors into the flowers I made. Here is the list of the products I used for this layout;
For the flowers, I used the Brighter Days layering stencil, and the Brighter days Die set. I love the cube color sets and have used them to give the flowers beautiful colors. I used the following sets:
cube pack “Indian summer”, cube pack “Fairy Dust”, cube pack “ Rise and shine”, cube pack “Over the hills”, cube pack “Starry night”, cube pack “Heart beat”. The "Happy Heart" collection can be found here Happy Heart collection,
I love the cut file I used in the background! You can find it here on the Pinkfresh Studio site Cut file “wildflower bunch"
I started with the cut file "Wildflower Bunch" which I cut out with my electric cutter machine from white cardstock. With 3D tape I stick the cut file on top of my white cardstock background. This way I create a lace look and I love it. I cut a light pink frame from the patterned paper and placed it on top of my white cardstock background. I add a white stitch border to the sides and use my sewing machine to do this.
I start by coloring the flowers and I used the Brighter Days layering stencil and die set. I love working in color layers. The ink cubes are perfect for that. I used different ink cube colors and make clusters on both sides of the picture. I printed the photo in two sizes and laid it on top of each other. I love the layers of depth in the photo that I create by doing this.
For the title I used different word stickers, alphas and word die-cuts. The title for this layout is called "Yay, Good day Cool hair Day today" My daughter can be totally happy when her hair is in good shape. We call that a "Good hair day" It is sometimes the small and everyday moments that we want to capture. I think the title is very playful.
I decorate the clusters further with butterflies that I cut from the design paper. I also use several die-cut shapes and a small round frame that I slide between my flower cluster. I splash white gesso and pink ink splatters for a playful effect on my layout.
I want to thank you for visiting the blog today and hope I was able to inspire you with this layout. I wish you a happy and creative day. Until next time friends.
