Hi everyone! Kerstin here with my last Blog Post for this year! I've a quick idea for you for the end of the year! In 4 days a new year begins! To have some fun at the turn of the year, I thought I'd make fortune cookies myself! The words on the Pinkfresh Studio Stamp Sets offer themselves there. I opted for sayings from the Floral Border Stamp. In addition, I have selected quotes from the Foiled Sentiments Ephemera 1. Let's get started!

In these cute little packets are hidden the quotes and of course some glitter. I have filled in each bag a few Metallic Pearls: Sparkling Champagne. Because glitter MUST be!

I stamped several quotes from the Floral Border Stamp using the Premium Dye Ink Pad: Raspberry Bliss. "Take your dreams seriously" fits perfectly in a fortune cookie - right? Plus, some of the words from the Foiled Sentiments Ephemera 1 like "be happy & smile" also fit nicely with fortune cookies.

I cut strips of paper the size of 3 x 6 inches. For me it had to be the dotted paper from the Happy Holidays 12 x 12 Paper Pack. I added double sided tape to three sides (2 long and 1 short) of the cut strips on the backside. 

To get this triangle shape I glued the two short sides together in a round shape and pressed the lower sides together to close them. I added a few (more) of the Metallic Pearls: Sparkling Champagne and a quote. Now turn the small bag and press the top sides / edges together. This creates the triangle shape.

On New Year's Eve, everyone gets to pick their fortune cookie and see what the new year brings. This is going to be a lot of fun!
