Mini Album Madrid | Susi Becerra
Hello Pinkfresh Studio friends! Susi back with you today to share a new Project using the beautiful Days of Splendor collection.
This time I made a mini album to document a few memories from our family weekend getaway to Madrid.
This mini album is 6 by 5 inches wich is perfect for ful-sizes photos and smaller memorabilia.
To create the cover I used cardboard and I combined "Moments that matter" patterned paper with white cardstock. I covered the inside with " Grateful Heart" paper. I used the Basic label frames die set to create the window and I decorated the cover with elements from Puffy Stickers and Ephemera pack.
For the title Madrid I used the Puffy Alphabet Sticker from the collection. Also I hung a chipboard flair on the spine of the album.
After that, I created two mini books cutting patterned papers and vellum in 10 by 4 1/2 inches. Next, I folded my pages in half and finally I sewed all pages along the fold line. If you don't have a sewing machine you can do this part by hand or use a stapler to bind the pages together.
To put the cover and pages together I used a system of elastic bands inside the spine where you are able to arrange inserts inside.
Now let`s walk through the album.
In this page I used the Adore Alpha Die set . I cut out 5 times each letter to add dimension.
The Totally Splendid patterned paper is perfect to create a tiny accordion book. This paper is amazing.
To decorate the mini I added tons of embellishments from Floral Ephemera pack, cardstock stickers, stitched elements and journaling bits. For some last finishing touches I added a few enamel dots and Jewel mix.
Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today and I`ll ssee you next time with another fun project.
Have a great day!
Susi
