Fussy Cut Background with Lovely Lane | Kerstin Scheidler

Hello everyone! Kerstin here with a new layout inspiration feat. the wonderful Lovely Lane collection. I created a fun background with lots of clusters. I also wanted to showcase the beautiful colors and patterns in this collection with my first layout!

Step-by-Step instructions

1. Shorten the Sides of the “Be Here Now” paper by 1 1/2 inches on each side.

2. Cut out the white Elements from the paper with a craft knife.

3. Place the Grid in the Center of 12 x 12 inch cardstock using 3D foam.

4. Make Squares. Choose your favorite papers from the 6 x 8 inch paper pad and cut (4) 2 x 2 inch squares - cut or punch a small semicircle on one side

5. Attach your Photo to one of the squares

6. Decorate the squares with various embellishments such as Puffy Stickers, Hearts & Stars Ephemera, Cardstock Stickers

7. Punch out 1 1/2 inch circles and decorate them with the various Embellishments. Arrange the circles at the top right and bottom left.

8. Add the Title. Place the title on one of the stripes with Mini Alphabet Stickers. 

9. Finishing Touches. Add Enamel Dots to complete the layout.

Tip: When I use Puffy Stickers or Cardstock Stickers , I stick them onto copy paper and cut them out with my scissors. That way, I can change their position if I don't like where they are.
