Rainbow Fringe Layout with Legendary | Karlla Dauer

Hello Pinkfresh Friends, this is Karlla, and I'm so happy to share my first blog project in a while. With the incredible Legendary Collection, I created a layout in the style I love... layers, textures, and monochrome. A super fun and easy creative process.

This collection is beautiful and inspiring. The striped paper is one of my favorites, and I brought the white paper to give it more prominence and embellishments.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Cut a piece of white cardstock to 10" long. And glue it onto a piece of striped paper, creating a 12x12" background.
2. Add the Fabric Border Stickers and sew a seam down the center of the strip and at the end seam between the white cardstock and the stripe paper.
3. With the remaining striped paper, cut 4 strips measuring 2x10.5".
4.  Make fringes on the 4 strips of paper with scissors or scissors designed for this technique.
5. Layer the fringes over the center of the white cardstock.
6.  Add the three photos on the background with foam tape to give dimension.
7. Cut out the shapes and arrows according to the fringe colors to create the color scheme. Glue them to the layout with foam tape.
8. Finish the layout with chipboard shape, Cardstock Stickers, Ephemera and Enamel Shapes.
