Hello everyone! Kerstin here today with a new layout feat. the wonderful Making the Best of it collection. Anyone who knows me knows that I love tone-on-tone layouts! For this layout, I chose the colors peach, yellow and green from the Making the Best of it collection. But see for yourself! Let's get started! 

I cut 6 x 1 3/4 inch strips in the above colors from papers from the 12 x 12 Making the Best of it Paper Pack and attached them to a white cardstock with 3D Foam. I made the flags from the Be the Sunshine paper and glued them to the strips.

I decorated the top strip with embellishments from the Making the Best of it Ephemera Pack, Chipboard Flair and of course Enamel Dots. If a butterfly is included in the collection, it must not be missing on a layout! 

I chose matching embellishments for the green stripe. I also added my journaling, which I wrote on Vellum, here. 

I love these white and gold alphas! They are so elegant and always matching! For my title I used the words Love and Smile from the Making the Best of it Cardstock Stickers and Happy from the Ephemera Pack. They fit the story I want to tell and also the fun picture with my daughter! 

You can create amazing memories with this beautiful Making the Best of it collection. My layouts don't disappear into a binder. I've put picture frames in our stairwell where I hang the layouts and swap them out every now and then. That way I can see the memories as I walk past! I love that!
