FLOWER ENVELOPES I KERSTIN SCHEIDLER
Hello everyone! Kerstin here and today I have a new project for you with the magical Chrysanthemum collection ! Long I wish to get mail that when I open it, flowers jump out at me. Since I have not received such mail, I had to do it myself!
Let's get started!
From the outside, the envelopes look inconspicuous. But when the envelope is opened, it turned out exactly as I imagined.
I cut cardstock in the size 6 x 11 inches. I folded on the narrow side at 1/4 and 5 3/4 inch. On the wide side was folded at: 3 inch, 3 3/8 inch, 7 3/8 inch and 7 1/2 inch. I cut the cutouts as you can see in the photo. I glued the envelope together after decorating the insert and gluing it to the top.
I die cut the beautiful Chrysanthemum Washi with the matching Chrysanthemum Die - multiple times. I arranged the flowers on the insert with tape and 3D Foam and decorated with the various Embellishments from the Chysanthemum collection. For this I used Chrysanthemum Chipboard Frames, Chrysanthemum Ephemera Pack, Chrysanthemum Chipboard Flair and Chrysanthemum Enamel Dots.
To insert small, lovely messages in the envelope, I used the Chrysanthemum Journaling Bits. One or the other bit I have shortened so that it fits in the envelope. To close the envelope there are many options. I have opted for Velcro dots.
I foiled a frame in gold with the Nested Rectangles Hot Foil , die cut with the Nested Rectangles Die and glued them to the envelope. Here I can write the name of the person receiving the gift (or my name - maybe) on it. The awesome Chrysanthemum Mini Alpha Stickers go great with gold!
The envelopes turned out exactly as I imagined them. Maybe you know someone who would like to receive such an envelope?
I hope you like it! You can also give this envelope to yourself, as I will do! I will write little messages to myself inside and open it sometime during the year.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great creative time!
See you next time!
