Delicate and lovely DIY Gift Boxes | Celes Gonzalo
Hi everyone! It's Celes here ;) Today I will share with you my new idea with the lovely Spring Vibes collection! You fall in love with it for all its details and the color palette.
These delicate DIY Gift Boxes are perfect for a card, a mini album, for small gifts, for invitations and everything you want ;) Let's get started!
Lid: to prepare the lids of the boxes I used papers from the 12 x 12 Paper Pad. You can do them using your guillotine and scoring board. To make them you need to cut papers of 7" w x 7" h. Score them at 1/2" and 1" on its 4 sides. Make the necessary cuts to form the lid (remember that you can see the process on Pinkfresh Studio IG profile).
Before gluing the lid, cut the center with the largest die in the Nested Circles Die Set you can also use the largest die of the set Essentials: Inverted Stitched Scallop Circles). Do not throw away the cut as you will die cut it with the set Essentials: Inverted Stitched Scallop Circles.
Assemble the lid and glue a piece of vellum to the inside of it. Next, take the die from the set Essentials: Inverted Stitched Scallop Circles and cut out a shape border piece (the largest one). You must stick it with 3d foam on the vellum.
Base: to prepare the base of the boxes I used 12 x 12 white cardstock. You can do them using your guillotine and scoring board. To make them you need to cut papers of 8 7/8" w x 8 7/8" h. Score them at 1" and 2" on its 4 sides. Make the necessary cuts to form the box (remember that you can see the process on Pinkfresh Studio IG profile).
Decoration and closing: to make the closing stripe of the box I used the same white cardstock and the ¼” width die from the Essentials: Slim Stripes Die Set. Prepare two double strips.
On the other hand, prepare some flowers using the Happy For You Stamp and color them with the Happy For You Stencil set and the Premium Dye Ink Pads: Olive, Mint, Meadow, Evergreen, Ballet Slipper, Sparking Rose, Coral Reef, Passion Fruit. Remember to use the Hybrid Ink Pad: Detail Black and the Stamp Press Tool to obtain a perfect stamp print ;) I mixed the colors to show vibrant colors since I wanted to use vellum over them.
Cut the flowers with the Happy For You Die and cut 2 extra pieces on white cardstock and 1 extra piece on vellum. Glue one of the cardstock pieces onto the stamped piece. Then, glue on the back the silver embroidery thread and the paper strips (one for each side). Finally glue the remaining piece of cardstock to hide what you glued on the back.
To finish, glue the vellum piece in the center and add an Enamel Dots as a detail. Then, add the name using the Puffy Alpha Stickers (make them just stick on the closure strip). Place the finished strip on the box and glue from behind, joining the ends of the strips (cut the excess of the strips). You should not glue the closure to the box, you should be able to remove it whenever you need.
Aren't they adorable? :) You can see the process on Pinkfresh Studio IG profile.
I hope you liked them!
See you next time! :)
