Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Fussy cut several cookies and treats from the “Made with Love” 12x12 inch patterned paper.
2. Cut two circles from patterned paper: one 7 inches wide and one 6.5 inches wide.
3. Cut a 5-inch circle from white cardstock.
4. Layer the 6.5-inch circle on top of the 7-inch one and use a bone folder to create soft embossed lines along the edges—this will give your piece the look of a real paper plate.
5. Adhere the white circle on top and place two 2-inch photos in the right corner.
6. Add a chipboard piece on top of the photos and begin arranging the cookies using foam adhesive for dimension.
7. Place your title around the edge of the plate using the lovely and colorful alphabet stickers.
8. Embellish with floral ephemera and cut a few cookies in half for a more playful, realistic look. You can also tuck in small paper scraps to mimic cookie crumbles.
9. Finish your layout with a some cardstock and puffy stars.

Tip: For extra realism, gently ink the edges of some cookies with a soft brown ink. It adds warmth, depth, and a “fresh-from-the-oven” baked look that makes the whole plate pop!
