Beach Girl Layout with Lovely Lane | Susi Becerra

Hi Pinkfresh fans! It's Susi here again! Today I’m sharing a fun and dimensional scrapbook layout created with the Lovely Lane collection. I wanted to capture a fresh, summery feel with chevron strips, florals, and layered embellishments. This design is perfect for beach or vacation photos!

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Fussy cut nine chevron strips, each 8" long, from the Lovely Lane patterned papers in shades of pink and blue.
2. Fussy cut flowers from another sheet in the collection in white, pink, and blue tones.
3. Arrange the Background. On a white cardstock base, center the chevron strips in the middle of the page. As a guide, leave 2 inches on each side and 1.5 inches at the top and bottom.
4. Add Dimension. To give movement, adhere the pink chevron strips only in five points across the page. This makes them lift slightly, resembling ocean waves.
5. Add your photo (mine measures 3” x 3.5”) in the center of the layout.
6. Embellish. Use the fussy-cut flowers, along with Layered Stickers, Cardstock Stickers, and Chipboard Stickers to frame the photo and decorate the background.
7. Add the Title. Place the title at the top of the layout using Puffy Alphas.
8. Finishing Touches. Add Enamel Dots for a shiny, playful effect.
