This is Caly and I’m here to share a slimline card using product from the latest release.  Have you seen all the new beautiful stamps, dies and stencils?  They are wonderful and I’m using my favorites from the release today.  The You Are My Favorite stamp, die, and stencil set make it easy to add color without stamping or coloring – so you can blend colors and add shading as you like.

I used Pinkfresh Studio Inks to color all the flowers and foliage using the You Are My Favorite.  It’s a set of 3 stencils and you can mask and add more colors if you want your flowers to be different colors like I did for today’s card (Sparkling Rose, Raspberry Bliss, Soft Lilac, Lavender, Meadow, Evergreen).

After adding color, I die-cut the image using the You Are My Favorite and splattered the image with white and gold paint to give it some texture.  Then I started working on the background by using the Diamond Plaid Layering Stencils – a set of two stencils to layer and create a blue background using Soft Sky ink.  By this time, the paint was dry so I was able to attach my floral image using foam adhesive to give the card lots of dimension.

The sentiment is stamped and embossed over vellum with gold embossing powder.  I wrapped the vellum strip around my card and adhered it in place.  To finish, I embellished my card with Pinkfresh Studio dark pink Jewels.
