Hi everyone! Hope you’re enjoying the New Release with Blog and Instagram hops! It's TaeEun here :) ! On today’s Post I want to showcase the classic and elegant Whispers of Poinsettia product suite from our Twinkle & Tradition Release.
Who says poinsettias have to be red and green?
I colored the full-panel poinsettia pattern in a fresh, untraditional palette and paired it with a deep teal background for a bold, modern, and luminous holiday look. The dreamy hues of the poinsettias truly stand out against the rich, dark backdrop.
*Disclaimer: All products used are linked below as clickable images. If a product isn’t listed, it’s been discontinued.
Here's how I put it together:
- Stencil the Whispers of Poinsettia on a white panel using the following ink colors:
- Stencil 1: Citron
- Stencil 2: Bubble Gum - Candy Violet - Hydrangea (poinsettia), Berrylicious (Berries)
- Stencil 3: Bubble Gum - Candy Violet - Hydrangea
- Stencil 4: Sweet Mustard - Citron - Bay Leaf
- Stencil 5: Warm Buff - Bay Leaf - Die cut the stenciled image with the coordinating die.
- Ink blend the perimeter of a dark teal cardbase with Atlantis.
- Foam mount the Whispers of Poinsettia onto the cardbase.
- Hot foil the sentiment from the Once Upon a Holiday Press Plate in gold and die cut it.
- Layer the sentiment with three additional white die cut pieces for extra dimension.
- Cut a small label from Champagne glitter cardstock with a die from the Dotted Fancy Frames die set to mat the sentiment.
- Add the sentiment with its glitter mat to the center of the card using foam tape.
- Finish by scattering a few Stargazer Jewels and add Sunshine Jewels to the center of the poinsettias for a touch of sparkle.

Tip: When working with a dark background, softly blend a slightly darker ink around the perimeter. This creates a radiant frame effect adding depth and guiding the eye toward the main image without overwhelming the design.
I had so much fun creating this card and love the dramatic effect it achieved! I hope it inspires you to try something new and bring a little extra magic to your holiday cards :).
Thanks for stopping by!
