Happy Wednesday, Pinkfresh friends! Yasmin here sharing with you a “Celebration’’ shaker/floral card made showcasing Seamless Floral Pattern, Color Block: Gradiating Stripes Die, Partial Cut Bouquet and a Bow Die Set, Leafy Wreaths Die Set and a beautiful Blue combination of PFS- Inks. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it.

To begin with, I started by creating the seamless floral pattern for the card so therefore to do that, I went ahead to line up over an A2 size white card panel the Stencil #1 from Seamless Floral Pattern Set following the little marks from the stencil. Thus, after I’ve had gotten both line up, I’ve gone ahead to start the ink blending over the stencil using an ink blending brush and Sky Blue Ink which is the lightest blue hue from my color palette.

So, after I’ve had finished the ink blending using the lightest hue, I’ve gone ahead to finish off the stencil layering by ink blending using Stencil #2 with Slumber Ink, Stencil #3 with Blue Jay Ink to complete the floral pattern and Stencil #4 with Mint Ink + Stencil #5 with Olive Ink to complete the greenery for the pattern. That said, after I’ve had finished off the seamless floral panel, I’ve gone ahead to carefully fussy cut it out from the A2 white card panel using a small pair of scissors and then, I’ve gone ahead to set it off to aside to let the ink settle into the cardstock.

Meanwhile, I went ahead to create the textured card panel so to do that, I’ve gone ahead to get a white card panel ink blended in a subtle way using Sky Blue Ink. Once, I’ve had that step done, I’ve gone ahead to add a bit of texture to it thus to do that, I used Color Block: Gradiating Stripes Die and the instructions from my die-cutting machine to get the dry embossing done over it. Therefore, after I’ve had finished adding the dry embossing texture, I’ve gone ahead to add gold splatters and I set it off aside to let the splattering air dry.

Moving, for the shaker focal point of the card first, I went ahead to die-cut 2 detailed circle white frames using the 2 smaller dies from Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Circles Die Set which, right that I’ve had finished die-cutting them, I’ve gone ahead to adhere to each of them with double-sided tape a piece of acetate. Next, I’ve gone ahead to make a sandwich with both die-cutting circle frames so, to do that I added lot of fine glitter to one of them and then, I’ve gone ahead to mount the second on top of the other with skinny pieces of craft foam tape adding that way a bit of dimension.

At this point, I started the assembling for the card layout so, I started by adhering the backing of the textured card panel with double-sided tape over an A2 top folding white card base. Next, I went ahead to mount the seamless floral pattern with craft foam tape over the textured card panel to add a bit of dimension. Then, to compliment the leafy vibe from the pattern and to add a bit of extra texture, I decided to get glue down first with liquid glue the shaker circle frame over a die-cutting leafy wreath which I’ve had gotten previously die-cut out of white cardstock using Leafy Wreaths Die Set which right afterwards, I’ve gotten them glue down also with liquid glue to the seamless floral panel (as shown in the image above)

Lastly, I’ve gone ahead to glue down the Celebrate sentiment in the center of the shaker frame as well as a gold die-cutting bow which, I’ve had previously die-cutting and assemble out of gold cardstock using the dies from Partial Cut Bouquet and a Bow Die Set. As for the sentiment, I used one of the die words from Pinkfresh Studio - Dies - Exclusive - Thin Words Everyday Script Set. And, as a finishing touch, I’ve also gone ahead to glue down with liquid glue some of the light blue jewels from Essentials: Jewel Mix adding that way an extra sparkly touch to it!
