Hi everyone, it's Kathleen back with you! Today I’m sharing two more cards I created using the washi tapes from the April “The Daydream Edit” release.
For the last pair of cards, I focused on the stamps and coordinating stencils. But today, I want to show you two ideas for quick, easy, and elegant cards featuring the Celebrate in Blooms washi tape, with almost no stamping required!

How to recreate these cards:
-
Preparation for both cards:
- Prepare the two card bases from white cardstock: (1) A2 size (side or top-folding) and (1) 4.25" x 4.25".
- Ink blend the front of both card bases with Ballet Slipper, or cut both from light pink cardstock right away.
- Adhere the Celebrate in Blooms washi tape to a piece of white cardstock & die cut with the coordinating dies. Set aside.
- Stamp (2) sentiments of your choice with Detail Black on white cardstock, die cut and stack each with (2) blank die cuts. Set aside.
-
Card 1 (A2, Elongated Oval Window):
- Trim a panel of Champagne Glitter Cardstock to A2 size, then die cut a window using the second-largest Nested Elongated Oval: Blanket Stitch die.
- Die cut the third-largest Nested Elongated Oval: Blanket Stitch die from a piece of white cardstock & adhere the die cut centered onto the A2 card base using foam adhesive.
- Adhere some of the washi tape die cuts along the top & bottom of the elongated oval with foam adhesive, then adhere the window glitter cardstock panel on top.
- Add one of the sentiments centered on the white oval die cut.
- Optional: Add Jewels in Glacier or other embellishments.
-
Card 2 (Square):
- Die cut the large Stitched Scallop Square die from Champagne Glitter Cardstock. Adhere the inside frame centered onto the square card base using foam adhesive.
- Die cut the third-largest Nested Squares: Diagonal Stitch die from white cardstock & adhere inside the glitter frame using foam adhesive.
- Add the second sentiment & the large washi tape die cut on top.

I hope these cards inspire you and I’d absolutely love to see what you create! Don’t forget to tag us on social media (@pinkfreshstudio and @cardsandconfetti) so we can admire your amazing work.
