Happy Friday, Pinkfresh friends! Yasmin here sharing with you a fun “Pop Out Rainbow” inspiration shaped card made Pop Out: Rainbow Cling Stamp Set and Color Block Rainbow Die for the rainbow shape. Also, Happy Blooms Floral Stamp Set, Happy Blooms Floral Die and Happy Blooms Floral Layering Stencil Set for the floral touch plus, Brushed Sentiments Hot Foil and Brushed Sentiments Dies for the card sentiment and lastly, PFS- Inks for the pop of colors. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it.

Therefore, I started off by lining up the Color Block Rainbow Die over a piece of white cardstock and then I went ahead to run them through the die cut machine. Thus, right after that I’ve had finished die-cutting the rainbow, I’ve gone ahead to pop out the positive die-cutting pieces from it and then, I proceeded to place the outlined or negative die-cutting piece inside my stamping tool to use it as a stencil for the stamping process.

Once, I had the negative piece into place, I quickly gone ahead to use it as a guide or stencil if you will, to start the stamping process by using each pop out piece from the Pop Out: Rainbow Cling Stamp Set to get the stamping done over each die-cutting piece. As for the colors, I used Ocean Breeze Ink, Mint Ink, Peach Fuzz Ink, Ballet Slipper Ink with a touch of Peach Fuzz Ink and Coral Reef Ink with a touch of Peach Fuzz Ink as well for peachy pink hues look.

Having that being said, right after that I’ve had finished the stamping for the five die-cutting pieces that I was going to use to make this card, I went ahead to set them off to the side. Meanwhile, I went ahead to create the card base, as for the card base, I went ahead to use the same die but in a totally different way. Therefore, I placed the die facing down over a large piece of white cardstock and then, I carefully use it as a template to cut out its shape from the cardstock using a rotary cutter. Next, I repeated the same steps to cut out the bottom part of the card base along with a smaller piece of cardstock with the measurements of H 4.0” x W 1/2 inches. As, for the smaller piece, I went ahead to place it over my scoring board tool to trace a scoring line at the 1/4” inch mark.

Moving on, as soon as I’ve had finished cutting the card base pieces and the spine, I quickly I’ve gone ahead to fold over the smaller piece and then, I’ve got glued down to each side of it the front and back side of the card, creating that way the shaped card base. This is originally designed for a portrait look however, I decided to go for a landscaping form totally changing the whole look. But, hey! Don’t we all love looking for different ways to use out dies and stamps. Thus, once the card base was completed, I went ahead to start the layering for it, so first, I went ahead to create the rainbow. Next, I decided to add a floral touch using both floral clusters that I’ve had previously created using a combination of Happy Blooms Floral Stamp Set, Happy Blooms Floral Die and Happy Blooms Floral layering Stencil Set.

Then, to keep it simple, I decided to use the same hues I used to create the rainbow. Therefore, I went ahead to get the floral clusters mounted over the upper left side of the card and then, I went ahead to get the hot foil stamping sentiment mounted as well over the lower right side of the card. A sentiment, which I’ve had previously created on another project using: Brushed Sentiments Hot Foil and Brushed Sentiments Dies.

Finally, I went ahead to finish the card off by gluing down here and there some Metallic Pearls -Gold to add the card an extra pop of shine. And, with that being said, thank you so much for stopping by we hope you have enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this fun “Pop Out Rainbow” inspiration shaped card using an array of beautiful products by Pinkfresh Studio.
