Hello everyone, it's Steph here, and I'm thrilled to share a project with you for the first time on the blog! My card today mixes ink-blending and hot-foiled die cuts to create unique texture and depth on this pretty card.
I was so inspired by the brand-new, beautiful July release, as the products are perfect to use with this idea!

How to create this card:
-
Use the Blushing Blooms Press Plate to hot foil a panel in Pastel Peach, Lavender, and Mint.
-
Use the coordinating stencil and colour these images with Peach Fizz, Cherry Blossom, Soft Lilac, Candy Violet, Gathered Twig, Mint, Meadow, and Mermaid Cove.
-
Use the Solid Hot Foil Plate to hot foil the negative foil sheets leftover from Step 1.
-
Die cut all these panels using the coordinating Blushing Blooms die and set aside.
-
Die cut a large circle using the second largest from the Blanket Stitched Circle die set. Then, lightly ink blend Cherry Blossom and Soft Lilac on either side.
-
Cut an A2 white cardstock panel. Then, I used one of the bottle patterns from the Sippables Scenes stencils, along with Coral Reef, Soft Lilac, and Candy Violet, to create a fun swirl pattern on the top left and bottom right corners of the panel.
-
Add foam adhesive to the circle and attach it to the center of the A2 panel.
-
Arrange Blushing Blooms die cuts on the circle, being sure to mix ink blended and foiled pieces to create depth and texture. Then attach with liquid glue and foam adhesive.
-
Stamp the sentiment from the Coastal Paradise stamp with Detail Black. Die cut it and two more for dimension. Adhere to the center of the circle with liquid glue.
-
Add a few Dew Drops to complete the card.

I hope you try mixing and matching ink blended and foiled die cuts on your next card. Tag us on Instagram so we can see what you create!
Happy crafting!
