Miss You Mini Slimline | Dilay Nacar

Miss You Mini Slimline | Dilay Nacar

Happy Friday, Pinkfresh Studio friends!

Dee here and today, I am sharing a mini slimline card and envelope featuring a few goodies from the brand new Essentials release! I absolutely love this release and wanted to showcase its versatility, so I combined a few die cuts to create a detailed backdrop for the Folk Garden florals. Let’s get started on the details!

For the background, I die cut a piece of white cardstock with the Diagonal Stitched Mini Slimline die then added circular layers overtop by die cutting the Stitched Scallop Circle Dies and Folk Edge Circle Die Set and adhering them to the background, cutting off any excess.

For the flowers, I cut a piece of white cardstock to slightly bigger than an A2 size and a piece of matte gold foil slightly smaller than the cardstock (but still large enough to cover the A2 plate). I placed the Folk Garden hot foil plate, foil, and cardstock on the dock and followed the prompts until my hot foil machine was ready to go. Once hot, I ran it through a die cutter to apply pressure.

Next, I added color with the coordinating Folk Garden stencils! For the leaves, I used Candy Violet (applying more ink and deepening the color with each layer), and for the buds, I used Sweet Mustard and Persimmon. Once the coloring was complete, I aligned the coordinating die and cut the image, adding the flowers onto the background panel with foam tape, again cutting off any excess. For a little extra detail, I splattered gold watercolor paint onto the background before adding the sentiment.

To finish, I added the ‘miss you’ sentiment from the Perfect Sentiments set with foam tape and embellished with Peace Fuzz jewels for a little extra sparkle. As a bonus, this release also has something brand new: Mini Slimline Envelope dies! These are perfect for creating matching envelopes, so of course, I made one in purple then used the Folk Garden Cling Stamp to stamp a tone-on-tone impression.

I hope that you enjoyed this card today and are inspired to create one yourself! Thank you so much for stopping by!

♡ Dee

So many elements to this card and yet it is so clean looking with the white background. love the gold splatter that blends so well with the beautiful color combinations and the “just right” amount of jewels. You always show that less is so so much more! I’ve learned that from you…thanks
