Hello friends! It's Rachel here with a spring-themed card that showcases the Happy Hummingbirds Cling Stamp combined with the gorgeous textured Scallop Glow Coverplate Die.

My color combo was inspired by the many spring flowers that are in bloom in my neighborhood.

How to recreate this card:

1.  Trim a piece of light blue card stock to 4.25" x 5.5" and die cut it with the Scallop Glow Coverplate Die.  You can keep or remove the die cut pieces. (I decided to keep mine).

2. Layer this piece onto a top-folding A2 sized card base by trimming a piece of card stock (I used 80lb white card stock) to 4.25" x 11".  Score this piece at 5.5" along the 11" side.

3.  Use Detail Black Ink to stamp the image from the Happy Hummingbirds Cling Stamp  onto a piece of smooth white card stock.  (I used Neenah Solar White 110lb.)

4.  Add quick and easy color to the image using the coordinating Happy Hummingbirds Stencils and Pinkfresh Inks.

• Stencil 1: Limoncello
• Stencil 2: Cherry Blossom, Peony, Sky Blue 
• Stencil 3: Sky Blue, Summer Shower, Ocean Breeze, Lemon Whip, Begonia
• Stencil 4: Apricot, Summer Shower, Sparkling Rose, Raspberry Bliss

7. Die cut the entire image using the coordinating Happy Hummingbirds Die Set.   

8.  Adhere the image onto the card front with 3D foam adhesive tape for a pop of dimension. (This allows the image to pop off the card base without looking too flat.)

9.  Heat emboss the sentiment with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder onto a piece of black card stock and cut it out with the coordinating die.  (I used a sentiment from the Freshly Picked Stamp Set.)

10. Add the sentiment to the front of the card with more 3D foam adhesive tape. 

11.  Add some Iridescent Clear Drops to the center of the flowers with liquid adhesive.
