It's a New Day Floral | TaeEun Yoo
Hello, Pinkfresh friends! Hope you’re having a great day! It’s TaeEun here today with a floral card featuring It’s a New Day Floral stamp set. I also used the little flowers from Garden Wreath die to add more Spring feeling to my bouquet.
The It’s a New Day Floral stamp set has several solo floral outline images made as one single stamp which makes it easy to cut multiple images using the coordinating die. It means you need only one pass through your die cutting machine to cut them all !
I started by gold heat embossing It’s a New Day Floral images on some watercolor paper and colored them using our Liquid Watercolors. After the coloring was done I cut the panel with the coordinating die.
The small flowers and the leaves from Garden Wreath die were cut from watercolor paper and watercolored in Sunshine, Clementine and Key Lime. I set them aside to dry.
While the flowers were drying I prepared the background panel. A white panel was cut using the Diagonal Stitched Plaid die. I ink blended Ballet Slipper and Lemon Whip on it lightly and adhered it on a white cardbase. And I cut the white frame using Stitched Scallop Rectangles die and foam mounted it on the card.
I made three clusters of the yellow flowers first. Some of the little flowers were adhered directly on the background and some of them using foam tape. The Garden Wreath die set cuts also those tiny dots for the flower center. Next I arranged the flowers from It’s a New Day Floral set as shown in the picture.
The sentiment was hot foiled in gold using Celebrating You hot foil plate and cut with the coordinating die. I added three clear Jewels to the card to finish off.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope you enjoyed looking my card today :) !
Have a crafty day!
