Indigo Vines - Navy & Gold | TaeEun Yoo

Hello, Pinkfresh friends! It's TaeEun here today! Hope you're all doing well and having a great week! Have you already gotten your washi, stamp and die orders and could have some play time with them :) ? Aren't they just gorgeous? I'm really in love with all of them. Today I want to showcase the Indigo Vines washi, stamp and die combo. I made two cards in navy and gold featuring the beautiful leafy clusters from Indigo Vines. I thought the navy and bluish gray colors of the Indigo vines go perfectly with gold.

To start off I adhered the washi tape on white cardstock and cut them with the coordinating die. I also gold heat embossed the Indigo Vines stamp images and cut them out.

For the first card I made an alcohol ink background on Yupo panel. I used Denim, Slate, Cloudy Blue and Cool Peri alcohol inks and added Gold Mixative to them. I blended the colors with rubbing alcohol while moving and drying them using a hair drier in low temperature setting.

To create the base for the Indigo Vines clusters I chose the hexagon dies from the Basic Label Frames die set. I cut two hexagons from some white cardstock and gold heat embossed the edge of the larger one and stacked them using foam tape.

I adhered the alcohol inked background Yupo panel on a  navy cardbase and added the hexagon piece on some nest out of golden thread using foam tape.

I arranged the leafy clusters from Indigo Vines washi tape and gold heat embossed images on the hexagon as shown in the picture. The sentiment is from Simply Sentiments: Thank You stamp set. I white heat embossed it on a strip of navy cardstock. I finished off the card with some gold enamel dots.

The second card is a slimline card.

For this card I created a background by applying the ink Stargazer ,  Slumber and a gold pigment ink using a brayer on a white panel which was cut with Slim Diagonal Stitched Plaid die

I stamped the sentiment from the Indigo Vines stamp set in Detail Black on the background panel and adhered it flat on a white slimline cardbase. I cut the gold frame using the Slim Stitched Scallop Rectangles die and foam mounted it on the card.

I then cut Leafy Circle two times, once from white cardstock and once from golden cardstock and switched the leafy circles and the inner pieces. After that I added them to the card using foam tape and arranged the leafy clusters from Indigo Vines washi and stamp set on it. Some cream Jewels were the finishing touch for this card!

That's it from me for today! I just love how they turned out. Hope you like them too :) !

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Wishing you all a crafty week!

TaeEun

These cards are stunning! I particular like the alcohol ink one. Your placement of the ink is perfect for this card! And the colors go so well!

Both cards are gorgeous, TaeEun! I am mesmerized by that alcohol inked piece!
I had a full day of playing in different ways with my Anemones yesterday! I’ll be adding the gold embossing idea to my list!
