Diamond Anemone Magic | Dilay Nacar

Diamond Anemone Magic | Dilay Nacar

Welcome, Pinkfresh Studio friends!

Dilay here and I’m back today with a pair of cards showcasing the beautiful new Anemone Magic washi tape and die! For today’s cards, I created my own patterned paper with washi tape to use with the background die!  If you’ve been following along, you know that I love using these washi tapes since they are easy to cut and can be used with a variety of different papers and bases. Let’s get started and go over the details!

I began by cutting the washi once from parchment paper (to create stickers) and once in white cardstock. I adhered a selection of the florals created from the parchment paper as stickers in a random pattern onto an A2-sized white cardstock panel, then used the Simply Diamonds die to cut it. This left me with a positive outline and negative diamond pieces.

For the first card, I used the positive outline as a guide, lining it up to an A2-sized card base with low tack tape and adhering the diamonds in place with foam squares. Once done, I removed the positive die and used that for the second card.

For this card, I die cut the Simple Diamonds die twice more in white, adhered them together for added dimension, and placed them onto an A2-sized card base with the positive piece from earlier on top. I then used foam tape to adhere the large Anemone Magic floral onto the center of the card.

For the sentiments on both cards, I used the Thin Words Everyday Script dies and die cut each word three times in white, gluing them together then gold heat embossing it for a metallic finish. I adhered the sentiments to the cards then finished by gluing each card to a top-folding card base and adding some jewels for sparkle!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope my cards inspire you to try something new!

♡ Dee

Beautiful cards, but I also did not understand about the washi tape on parchment paper. Not sure what you were explaining. Going to work on the cards
Thank you so much for all your beautiful cards.

This is absolutely BEAUTIFUL.. I’m sorry, but when you say you cut the washi on parchment paper to make stickers, did you run it through a “sticker machine” to do this? I’ve been making cards for a while, but I apologize for not understanding this….and believe me, I want to, as I would love to make these! :)

    Thank you so much!
