Hello Pinkfresh friends! It’s TaeEun here today with a floral thank you card inspired by our monthly challenge! The theme of this month is “Frame It Up”,  paired with a fresh and cheerful color palette of teal, pink, and yellow. I used the Nested Rectangles: Postage Edge die to create my frame and layered a piece of vellum over the outer portion of the Floral Field image. This softens the background beautifully and gently draws the focus to the floral design within the frame.

Here's how I put it together : 

1. Stencil the Floral Field image on an A2-sized white panel using the ink colors listed below. For the petals, I blended two shades to create smooth color transitions:

1. • Stencil 1: Ocean Breeze
   • Stencil 2: Key Lime
   • Stencil 3: Mermaid Cove
   • Stencil 4: Marigold
   • Stencil 5: Apricot and Mango Sorbet
   • Stencil 6: Ballet Slipper and Bubble Gum
   • Stencil 7: Bubble Gum and Raspberry Bliss
2. Die cut the stenciled image using the Floral Field die.
3. Create a white frame using a die from the Nested Rectangles: Postage Edge set and a coordinating one from the Nested Rectangles: Diagonal Stitch set.
4. Cut a rectangle from the stenciled and die cut Floral Field image matching the size of the frame.
5. Add texture by cutting the front of a white card base using the Charming Stitched Florals coverplate die.
6. Adhere the outer portion of the stenciled Floral Field image onto the card front.
7. Apply liquid glue only where the frame will sit and adhere an A2-sized vellum panel to the card. This tones down the outer part of the image and draws attention to the center.
8. Attach the central rectangle of the stenciled image behind the white frame, and add a second layer of the frame using foam tape for dimension.
9. Mount the framed floral image over the vellum using foam tape.
10. Press the sentiment from the Plumeria Press Plate in Detail Black and die cut it.
11. Lightly ink blend Bubble Gum onto a piece of white cardstock and cut a heart using the Radiating Hearts and Stars die.
12. Cut a larger heart from some vellum and layer it behind the pink one.
13. Stack the hearts and sentiment using thin foam tape and adhere them to the card with thicker foam tape.
14. Add a few Blush and Amber Clear Drops to complete the card with a soft sparkle. 

Tip: I used vellum to soften the outer area of the floral design because I didn't want to discard such a pretty background! It’s a great way to highlight the framed section while still showcasing all the gorgeous florals.
