Circle Dies for a Fun Graphic Design | Anne Fiene

Hi, my friends! I used Pinkfresh Studio's new Double Stitched Circle die set to make a fun, graphic card. The stitching detail provides a little extra interest. And with this sentiment, it would make a lovely birthday or graduation card.

I found a photo of orange halves, which inspired me with its colors and added leaves, so I included them on my card.

1. For the background, I used PFS's Ocean Breeze and a very light hand with Aquamarine on a panel of white cardstock. (And those 1-inch blending brushes! They're wonderful!)
2. I attached the colored panel to an A2-sized cardbase and rounded the corners.
3. For the circles, I pulled out a few different sizes from the nested Double Stitched Circle die set and cut several circles from heavyweight white cardstock.
4. Then, color them. Three of them will involve layers of different sizes and colors. I used Peach Fuzz, Clementine, and Persimmon at the very edge of the circle.
5. When you finish your layered circles, start playing around with the arrangement, keeping the sentiment placement in mind.
6. Once I knew how to arrange everything, I used the Here For You Sentiments press plate and Moondust foil for my sentiment.
7. I grabbed Pinkfresh's Border Stencils set, glitter gel, and opaque matte texture paste to make a little area for the sentiment to be popped up over.
8. I glued some of the circles straight to the cardbase. A few had an extra layer of cardstock under the circle before I glued it down. And with a couple of them, I used fun foam and foam tape.
9. I used the Stylized Florals for some leaves and glued them under a couple of the circles.
10. I added a few Clear Drops in Ice, and I was done with my card!

Using simple shapes like Pinkfresh's new circle dies can make a big impact on a unique greeting card. Make circle cards or change up the colors used. There is a lot of room to get creative.
