Flower Garden Stamp & Stencil Set┃Yasmin Diaz
Happy Tuesday, Pinkfresh friends! Yasmin here sharing with you a very colorful “Birthday’’ inspiration card made using the latest; Flower Garden Layering Stencil Set which happens to be the coordinating stencil set for the previous released Flower Garden Stamp Set along with this beautiful set, I’ve also used Diagonal Stitched Plaid Die, Scripted Bold Sentiments 2, Essentials: Classic Words Die Set and a full array of PFS- Inks. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it.
To begin with, I started by placing an A2 size white card panel inside my stamping tool and once I’ve had that done, I’ve gone ahead to line up over it the floral background stamp image from Flower Garden Stamp Set and as soon as I had that step done, I’ve gone ahead to get the stamping done over the card panel using Misty Coast Ink.
Therefore, after I’ve had finished stamping the floral background over the card panel, I’ve gone ahead to remove it from the stamping tool but, leaving the background stamp image into place as I was going to come back to get it stamped once again after finishing the layering stencil process. With that said, for the layering stencil I went ahead to line up the card panel along with the Stencil #1 from Flower Garden Layering Stencil Set over my Make Art - Stay-tion - 7 Inch, and once I had them both secured with the magnets I’ve gotten some of the flowers ink up using an ink blending brush along with Candy Violet Ink and Misty Coast Ink.
Moving on, I used Stencil #2 to ink up the largest flower with Sweet Mustard Ink and the other with Misty Coast Ink. So, on and so forth, I used Stencil #3 along with Fresh Pear Ink to ink up the base for the leaves. Stencil # 4 along with Regal Kiss Ink + Candy Apple Ink to turn the purple detailed inking into a purplely-red and Misty Coast Ink and Warm Buff Ink to add the detailed inking for the white flowers. Stencil #5 along with Clementine Ink and Persimmon Ink to add the detailed inking for the yellow flower plus once again a touch of Misty Coast Ink and Warm Buff Ink to add the detailed inking for the white flowers.
Lastly, to finish the inking for the card panel I used Stencil #6 along with Olive Ink to add the detailed inking for the leaves and once I’ve had that done, I’ve gone ahead to place back into my stamping tool the card panel to get the stamping and gold heat embossing done. Therefore, as soon as I’ve got the heat embossing completed, I’ve gone ahead to use a small pair of scissors to fussy cut out the floral background from the white card panel. By the way, I’ve also used an Xacto knife to cut out small pieces of it so, I could get a peek through from the blue inked card panel which I’ve had previously adhered with double-sided tape over an A2 top folding white card base. By the way, to create the card panel, I used a plain white card panel along with Diagonal Stitched Plaid Die and Sky Blue Ink. That said, after having the card base completed, I went ahead to mount the floral background to it and then, I’ve gotten mounted as well the die-cutting sentiment which I created by using white card stock, translucent vellum and gold cardstock along with one of the word dies from Essentials: Classic Words Die Set.
Finally, after finishing the card off, I decided to mount with craft foam tape a sub-sentiment so, for the smaller sentiment, I went ahead to stamp and gold heat emboss one of the smaller sentiments from Scripted Bold Sentiments 2 on a strip of white cardstock, and as a finishing touch I also went ahead to glue down here and there with liquid glue some jewels from Essentials: Jewel Mix to add a pop of shine!

Beautiful stenciling on this stamp. I got these stencils. I already had the stamp and these stencils just really make it so much more versatile. I’ve used them in many color combos and like them all. Yasmin always makes the most beautiful cards. She is a great inspiration.
