If you love cards that combine movement, depth, and delicate details, this Freesia Flourish shaker card is the perfect project. I used the Freesia Flourish press plate, stencil, and die to create a dimensional floral design that appears to float within the shaker window. By hot foiling the image onto heat-resistant acetate, then layering it over an ink-blended hot-foiled image and background, the result is elegant and complex. Follow along for a step-by-step look at how to build this layered shaker from the background up.

How to recreate this card:
- Cut and fold an A2 top-folding card base from white cardstock.
- Cut an A2 panel from white cardstock. Ink blend the top with Ocean Breeze, fading out as you go, about the top third of the panel. Mask off a 1" section along the bottom and ink blend with Mint & Meadow to ground the scene. Adhere to the card base.
- Cut the Diamond Lattice from white cardstock. Adhere to the card. Add a very thin double-layer foam tape frame to the outer edge of the panel, ensuring there are no gaps.
- Hot foil the image and sentiment with satin gold foil.
- Stencil 1: Sparkling Rose + Raspberry Bliss
- Stencil 2: Sparkling Rose + Raspberry Bliss
- Stencil 3: Mint + Meadow
- Stencil 3: Mint + Meadow
- Die cut the image and sentiment, and stack with 2 blank die cuts for stability.
- Adhere the flower to the card with foam tape.
- Cut a piece of acetate to 4 1/2" x 5 3/4". Hot foil the flower with satin gold foil, positioning it so that the acetate panel can match up with the flower on the card.
- Cut 3 frames using the 2 largest dies from the Double Stitched Rectangle die set. Adhere them together.
- Lay the acetate piece on top of the flower on the card, ensuring it is lined up perfectly. Line up the frame with the card and adhere. Trim off the excess acetate.
- Sprinkle gold dust gems and sequins on the card. Remove the foam tape liner and adhere the framed acetate.
- Adhere a strip of coordinating card stock across the card. Use foam tape in the center sp it doesn't droop. Adhere the sentiment on the strip with liquid glue.
- Embellish with Gold Glitter Drops.

I hope this project inspires you to experiment with floating elements and dimensional layers in your own shaker cards. We’d love to see your take! Tag us on Instagram with your version of this card, or leave a comment below with any questions you have.
