Happy Monday, Pinkfresh friends! Yasmin here sharing with you a very cute trio of handmade “Gift Card Holders” using the newest Essentials: Fillable Gift Card Holder Die Set. Along with this beautiful die set I’m also using elements from Oh What Fun Collection which is the perfect collection to embellish any handmade holiday paper crafting gift. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made them.

To begin with, I started by lining up over a large piece of white cardstock the largest die from Essentials: Fillable Gift Card Holder Die Set. Therefore, once I’ve had them both line up, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Thus, right after that I’ve had finished die-cutting the first card holder base, I went ahead to repeat the same step 2 more times to create all gift card holder bases at once.

With that said, after I’ve had finished die-cutting all card bases, I went ahead to set 2 off to the side. Meanwhile, I went ahead to line up one of the decorative dies from the set in the center of the of the top folding of the gift card holder base. Then, once I’ve had them both line up, I went ahead to run them through the die-cutting machine. Therefore, after I’ve had added the decorative die-cutting to the card holder base, I went ahead to trim a piece of patterned paper the exact same size as the gift card holder base, and I repeated once again the same process. So, after I’ve had finished die-cutting the patterned piece, I went ahead to adhere pieces of acetate with double-sided tape, as well as foam mounting tape to raise dimension, as I wanted to create a window for cute decorative shaker gift card holder. Thus, as simple as that, I added crushed crystal to the decorative window and the I finished the top of the gift card holder by mounting with craft foam tape one of the die cut shapes from the Oh What Fun Collection - Ephemera Pack.

Moving on, after finishing the top part of the gift card holder, I went ahead to fold it in half following the scoring line created by the die and with that said you can appreciate in the image above how cute the inside of the gift holder card is.

You can also appreciate in the image above how it looks like with an actual gift card. Isn’t that cute?

The Essentials: Fillable Gift Card Holder Die Set includes 3 decorative dies but, if you want to mass produce the gift card holder without the decorative die-cutting you absolutely can an it will still look cute as it will still have the decorative design inside.

Thus, for the second example I skipped the decorative die-cutting however, I still embellished de front of the card using patterned paper and die cut shapes from Oh What Fun Collection - Ephemera Pack as you can see in the image above.

If you like to write long messages in your handmade card, this design will be a good one because has more space by skipping the decorative die-cutting step.

Here, you can see in the image above how the second example looks like with an actual gift card included.

The third example from the trio has basically the same process as the first one. However, includes a little bit of stamping.

Therefore, to embellish this gift card holder I’ve used another decorative die from the set and a different patterned paper from the same paper pack. As for the stamping, I’ve used one of the die cut shapes from the ephemera pack on which I’ve stamped one sentiment from Season’s Greetings Stamp Set with Evergreen Ink.

Lastly, to keep it simple I’ve decided to stamp the inside of it to finish the sentiment using one sentiment from the same stamp set as well as the same color ink.

Then, as a finishing touch, I’ve gone ahead to adhere down to the last gift card holder some of the Oh What Fun Collection - Self Adhesive Enamel Dots adding that way an extra dimensional shiny touch! And, with that being said, thank you for stopping by we hope you have enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this cute and fun trio of handmade “Gift Card Holders” made with an array of beautiful products by Pinkfresh.
