Hello friends! It's Rachel here with some colorful ink-blended florals set on a background of elegant stitched die cuts.

I combined some gorgeous flowers from the Petal Poise Stamp Set along with the eye-catching Petal Grid Coverplate Die.  I was inspired to use some soft spring colors along with a pop of hot pink for some bold contrast.

How to recreate this card:

1.  Trim a piece of light teal card stock to 4.25" x 5.5" and die cut it with the Petal Grid Coverplate Die.

2. Layer the die cut piece from step one onto a 4.25" x 5.5" piece of white card stock so that the white pops through the details on the teal piece above.

3.  Die cut two hexagon shaped pieces from white card stock using the Nested Hexagons: Double Stitched Die Set.

4.  Add dimensional foam tape to the back of the larger hexagon piece and adhere it to the card base.  Next, add the second hexagon piece on top of the larger one with double-sided tape or liquid adhesive.

5.  Stamp the florals from the Petal Poise Stamp Set onto white card stock (I used Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb Card Stock) with Detail Black Ink.

6.  Use the coordinating Petal Poise Stencils to add color to the florals.

• Stencil 1: Peach Fuzz
• Stencil 2: Sparkling Rose
• Stencil 3: Bubble Gum
• Stencil 4: Ocean Breeze
• Stencil 5: Mermaid Cove

7. Use the coordinating Petal Poise Dies to die cut the florals.   

8.  Adhere the florals to the lower left and top right sides of the hexagons with more 3D foam tape for a pop of dimension.

9. Heat emboss the sentiment with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder onto a piece of black card stock and die cut with the coordinating die before placing in the center area of the card.

I absolutely adore all of the stitching and detail of the background pieces and how well they coordinate with the Petal Poise flowers.  I hope you enjoyed my card today and will be inspired to make a similar one of your own!
