Dreamy Dimensional Flower Garden | Anne Fiene

Hi everyone! I made a dreamy flower garden card and gave it dimension with color and foam tape. I used Pinkfresh's new Butterflies In Bloom stamp, stencil set, and die, along with the lovely Grateful Greenery stamp and stencil.

I love the contrast between the soft floral colors and the strikingly bold, hot-foiled sentiment.

1. Start by hot-foiling your sentiment onto a 4 1/4 X 5 1/2-inch panel of white cardstock using a sentiment from the Grateful Greenery press plate. Use black foil.
2. Place your hot-foiled panel in a stamping platform. Then, randomly apply the Grateful Greenery branch image around the panel using the stamp with Sage and Ballet Slipper inks. (If you prefer to stamp and color before hot-foiling, that will work, too; make sure to leave space for the sentiment.)
3. Then, use the Grateful Greenery stencil set to lightly color in the stamped greenery with Sage, Ballet Slipper, and Peach Fuzz.
4. Adhere that panel to an A2-sized card base. (4 1/4 X 5 1/2 in.) 
5. Stamp the Butterflies In Bloom image on two pieces of white card stock using a light-colored ink, such as Ballet Slipper.
6. Color the images in using the accompanying stencil set. Make sure to keep the blooms slightly bolder than the greenery in the background. I used A LOT of inks/colors for this step. I will link them all below. (I used Clementine ink over the red blooms to make them slightly more orange-y)
7. Die cut them out using the Butterflies In Bloom die set.
8. Arrange and adhere them to your cardbase using two layers of foam tape. Using scissors, flip the card over and cut off any overhanging pieces of the floral die-cuts.
9. To finish, round the corners of your card and apply Ice clear drops where you like.

Many kinds of sentiments would work beautifully with this card design. Congratulations,  Birthday, Anniversary.
