Happy Friday, Pinkfresh friends! Yasmin here sharing with you a very subtle “Double Folded’’ inspiration card made using the latest; Essentials Stitched Scallop Circle Die Set, Essentials Stitched Essentials Folk Edge Circle Die Set and Leafy Circle Die to create the center focal point. Cling Rubber Stamp: Diamond Tiles and Sky Blue Ink to create the front tile background. Phrase Builder: Sending Die Set to create the die-cutting Hugs sentiment. Plus, Happy Blooms: 6 x 6 Paper Pack for the floral background. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it.

Therefore, I started off by lining up the smaller die from Essentials: Stitched Scallop Rectangles Die Set over a large piece of white cardstock and then, I went ahead to run them through my die-cut machine. Next, I repeated the same step to die-cut another smaller-scalloped frame using the same die but this time out of a gold cardstock. Once, I had that step done, I’ve gone ahead to glue down the outer scalloped frame with liquid glue and then, I did the same thing for the inner die-cutting frame, and I set them off aside.

Thus, I went ahead to line up the smaller leafy die from Leafy Circle Die over a large piece of white cardstock and then, I went ahead to run them through my die-cutting machine to create 3 white die-cutting leafy frame. Next, I did the same step to die-cut once again the leafy frame but this time out of gold cardstock. That said, as soon as I finished with all die-cutting pieces, I went ahead to stacked together 2 of the white die-cutting leafy frame and then, I stacked the gold one as well underneath it to create a gold shadow layer. Nevertheless, I added a slightly pop of color using an ink blending brush and Sky Blue Ink to the last white die-cutting leafy frame and as soon as I was done doing that, I’ve gone ahead to stacked it over the others to complete a fuller leafy wreath frame.

So, right after that I had finished the previous steps, I went ahead to line up the largest die from Essentials Folk Edge Circle Die Set over a large piece of white cardstock and once I had that done, I’ve gone ahead to run them through the die-cut machine to die-cut the detailed die-cutting circle out of it. Moving on, as soon as all die-cutting pieces were finished, I’ve gone ahead to create the card base for today’s example therefore, to do that, I went ahead to trim off a W 11.0’’ x H 5-1/2’’ inches. And, then I proceeded to score a line at the 3’’ inches and mark and at 7-3/8’’ inches. Once, I had finished marking the scoring line, I’ve gone ahead to get them folding over, using my Teflon bond folder and as soon as the card base was ready, I went ahead to set it off aside.

Lastly, to create the background front pieces for the folds first, I went ahead to trim off the edges from a subtle stamped background panel which, by the way I’ve had previously created by stamping Cling Rubber Stamp: Diamond Tiles over a white card panel using Sky Blue Ink (to be exact to W 2-7/8’’ x 5-7/8’’ inches.) Next, after trimming the edges off using my paper trimmer, I went ahead to get the backing of it adhered with double-sided tape to the first fold.

So, as soon as the first background panel was adhered it to the card base, I went ahead to start the assembling for the layered die-cutting focal point by adhering down with double-sided tape 3/3 of an inch from the larger die-cutting circle to the center of the first fold. Second, I went ahead to glue down with liquid glue the larger layered outer scalloped die-cutting frame. Third, I went ahead to mount with square foam adhesives the inner die-cutting frame and last but certainly not least, I went ahead to glue down the dimensional leafy circle frame.

Lastly, to finish the focal point for the card, I went ahead to glue down the dimensional Hugs die-cutting word which, I’ve had created previously out of white and gold cardstock using the top layer die from one of the dies from Phrase Builder: Sending Die Set. Next, I also got mounted a sub-sentiment which I’ve had previously stamped and gold heat emboss over a strip of white cardstock using, embossing ink, gold embossing powder and one of the sentiments from Leafy Decor Stamp Set. And, to finish the card off, I also got adhered a background panel to the second fold however, instead of stamping it this time I used one of the patterned paper sheets from Happy Blooms: 6 x 6 Paper Pack to create a floral contrast from the already stamped tiled background.

Then, to finish the card off, I went ahead to glue down here and there with liquid glue some of the Jewels: Sky Blue from Essentials: Jewel Mix adding that way a pop of sparkle!
