Blooming Leafy Branches | Dilay Nacar

Welcome back, friends! Dee here and today, I’m sharing a pair of cards featuring a few of my favorite dies in my favorite color scheme - rainbow!

For the first card, I started with an A2-sized card base that I trimmed down with the Stitched Rectangles die. I cut the each of the Stitched Scallop Square dies twice then stacked and adhered them together. I adhered them at an angle onto the card base and trimmed off the excess.Next, I created the leaves with the Leafy Branch die in gold mirror cardstock, then adhered them onto the angled scalloped frames, trimming off the excess. For the flowers, I used the small blooms die included in the Garden Wreath die set with a few of my favorite cardstock colors. I shaped each flower using a stylus tool then adhered them onto the leaves. Once the adhesive was dry, I added jewels in coordinating colors for a little extra sparkle!

To complete the card, I hot foiled the Thank You So Much hot foil plate in gold then die cut it with the coordinating die. In this case, I wanted the florals to be more visible, so I carefully removed the So Much, leaving just the Thank You as the sentiment.

Now onto the second card! I started with a 4.25” x 4.25” base. I die cut the Stitched Scallop Square dies twice (using only the inner square) then stacked and adhered them together then to the center of the square base. Next, I die cut the leaves with the Leafy Branch die in ten colors of cardstock, trimmed the leaves to smaller pieces, then adhered them around the scalloped from (covering only three sides). Next, I die cut the flowers with the small blooms die included in the Garden Wreath die set using gold mirror cardstock, shaped each flower with a stylus tool then adhered them onto the leaves. Once the adhesive was dry, I added (you guessed it) jewels in coordinating colors!

I hope that you enjoyed learning more about both of these cards and the products that I used to create them! Thank you so much for joining me today!
