New Ideas for Scene-Building Stamp Sets | Kathleen Schmelz

Hi everyone, it's Kathleen back with you! Today I wanted to share some inspiration for the new Citrus Still Life product suite without combining it with the coordinating Sunlit Table set. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the scene-building possibilities this set offers, but I wanted to find a different way of using the Citrus Still Life elements.

How to recreate this card:

1. Create an A2 top-folding card base from white or light yellow cardstock. If you're using white, ink blend the card front with Lemon Whip using a 1" blending brush.
2. Stamp the Citrus Still Life image in Misty Coast on white cardstock using a stamp positioner. Don't remove the stamp!
3. Ink blend with the coordinating layering stencils:
   1. Stencil 1: Lemon Whip
   2. Stencil 2: Sweet Mustard
   3. Stencils 3 + 4: Misty Coast + Sky Blue
   4. Stencil 5: Olive + Spanish Moss (leaves); Peach Fuzz (pitcher)
   5. Stencil 6: Olive + Spanish Moss; Opulence (layered onto the greens in the olives & grapes)
4. Place the panel back into the stamp positioner & restamp the image with Detail Black.
5. Die cut & stack each piece with a blank die cut for more dimension and sturdiness.
6. Stamp the "Sending you..." sentiment in Detail Black on white & heat emboss with clear embossing powder. Stack with (2) blank die cuts plus another piece die cut from Champagne glitter cardstock, slightly offset.
7. Adhere the stacked sentiment centered onto the card front using liquid adhesive.
8. Arrange the ink-blended elements around the sentiment to fill the card front. Adhere with liquid adhesive & cut off any excess.
   Tip: Use the small off-cuts to fill in some empty spaces around the outside edges.
