Hi Pinkfresh friends!
It's Andrea here today and I have a dark blue monochromatic inspiration with lots of layers for you. Most of the time the cards are white or light in color, just go for bright colors and try it out. It's fun!
For my card I grabbed the brand new "Grateful Greenery" set from the January release. I hope you like my idea and that it serves as inspiration for you.

This is how you can recreate this card:
1. Use a card base measuring 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and a panel measuring 3 1/2" x 4 3/4".
2. Color the edge of the panel in darker colors. I used Stargazer and Licorice for a very bold, dramatic look.
3. The pattern is then embossed with the Stitched Chain cover plate.
4. Next, stamp the beautiful branch from the Grateful Greenery set in black and then die cut with the matching die.
5. The small berries are colored white, using an ink blending brush and the Calico White ink. The drying process takes a while, but you can help it along with a heat tool.
6. Add a few clear drops in Ice that go perfectly with this.
7. Of course, loving words are a must on a card; in the Grateful Greenery set you will find some options with matching dies. On dark card stock, a white heat embossed sentiment creates a beautiful contrast.
8. To finish the card, arrange the individual elements and adhere them with foam pads. Don't worry about the format of the card, you can have a branch hanging over it ;)

I hope you enjoyed this project and maybe it inspires you to create some bold, dramatic cards! Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day!
