Hey friends!  Brianna Lepper here sharing a new layout with y'all today.  I wanted to use the new Dotted Scallops Coverplate that is a part of the new June release!  I paired it with the Happy Heart collection and since there are some really lovely shades of blues and greens in it, I decided to have my whole layout in only those shades.  Here's what I came up with: 

To start, I die cut the Dotted Scallops Coverplate a few times using textured white cardstock.  I then pulled out a few ink cubes in blues and greens and did some watercoloring on each panel.  I then fussy cut the scallops out to create some fun edges to later layer around my layout.  

I love white backgrounds on my layouts and wanted to use a bit more patterned paper on this page.  So I trimmed down the Small Joys 12x12 paper and turned it sideways on some white cardstock.  I ran it through my sewing machine and then layered the Dotted Scallops strips on the top and bottom.  

I matted my photo using some blue and green patterned paper scraps from the collection and popped it up on foam tape. Then I went through the collection and pulled out some blue and green pieces that I could embellish with.  I used a couple words from the Title Ephemera pack and added some Puffy Alphas to it to create my title.  

I layered a few Chipboard Frames and fussy cut some butterflies from the 12x12 Beautiful Moments paper and adhered those around my page.  

I finished my page with some Enamel Dots and some tangled thread.  I love how this page turned out.  The blue and green hues make me so happy!
