I chose a photo that reminded me a lot of Christmas because it is linked to a brand that makes excellent candles and that I often give as a gift because they are available in many fragrances, many perfect for the Christmas theme. 

Among the various patterned papers available for this collection I chose to use merry everything from which I fussy cut the pink and blue frames to create with them a kind of wall decoration using the white cardstock as if it were a wall.

For the watercolor background I used the ink cubes in shades of light blue and light pink, starry night and heartbeat, mixed with water on an acetate sheet then spread on the white cardstock using another acetate piece used as a brush.

As a final touch I added some drops of gesso mixed with water.
