Hi crafty friends!

A new year is here! I'm still a bit in Christmas mood. Nevertheless, I would like to get now something "Spring" in the house. I made a layout that makes me SMILE in these dark days (it's been raining here in Germany for a week!). 

I choose for my layout the amazing "Candy Cane" paper from the "Holiday Magic" collection. I cut out the white elements and glued the colored ones to a piece of 10x10 white cardstock with double sided tape. I cut off the overlapping paper with my scissors. 

I inserted 2 elements similar to the ones cut out before into the space in between again and bent the edges slightly with my fingernail.

I punched out leaves from the paper scraps using one of my favorite Die Set "Curvy Leaves" and glued them in color. I used different Bits and Pieces from the "Happy Blooms" collection to decorate. Doesn't that fit wonderfully?

I actually wanted to print and paste my photo in the shape and size of a strip ... BUT if the printer does not play along you just need a plan B!

I love Enamel Dots and this is where I "went wild".

I love how this layout came together! It puts you in a good mood!
