simply magical, Days of Splendor layout | Jung A
Hello crafty friends! It's Jung here, and today I'm sharing a layout using the Days of Splendor collection. I am also using a Pinkfresh Studio cutfile called Floral Tile Background, which you can find here.
I now have a photo of all 3 of my girls in the same purple dress, and those are the photos that I am documenting.
I used my cutting machine to cut the cutfile on white cardstock. Once finished, I backed the cutfile with papers from the Days of Splendor collection. For the leaves, I used the Simply Magical paper, and for the flowers I used the My Favorite pattern paper.
I chose a purple cardstock for my background to match the dress in the photos, and I added a little bit of white splatter. Once dry, I adhered the cutfile with foam squares.
Next, I backed the photos with more of the My Favorite pattern paper, and adhered them to the layout. For my journaling, I used a label, which is from the sticker set, and a little puffy label.
I embellished around the photo with pretty floral ephemera, puffy stickers, and enamel dots.
Also, how cute is the little squirrel from the ephemera pack?! I didn't think I would be using a squirrel on my layouts, but here he is.
I didn't really think there was any room for a big title, so the "simply magical" puffy sticker serves as my tiny title.
To finish off my layout, I trimmed a little bit of the cardstock from the left side, backed it with the Moments that Matter pattern paper, and added a little machine stitching.
I love how this layout turned out, and I love having these photos documented. Since the cutfile takes up so much space, putting together my layout was so smooth! I hope you were inspired by my project, and don't forget to check out the Pinkfresh Studio cutfiles!
Thanks for stopping by, and have a beautiful day!
