Scrapbook inspiration with the new collections | Terhi Koskinen
Hello everyone and happy Monday!
It's Terhi here again with two very different scrapbook layouts. First is made with the coolest cut file ever and Super Cool collection matching perfectly to the boy theme. Second one is more feminine, created with Noteworthy collection and bunch of dies.
Super Cool is just as the name says, the coolest collection of the year. I love how versatile and fun it is! The cut file goes great for all boys and girls no matter the age, but I think it's like a match made in heaven with my lovely super hero nephew. The cut file will be available later this month!
Here's how the page was made. First, I cut the cut file with my Silhouette making sure it's about 1,5" smaller than the 12"x12" white cardstock I was going to use as a background. Then, I backed the cut file with green and deep blue patterned papers and attached the photograph behind the second O.
As a third phase, I attached the cut file on the background as well as four triangles in four different colors. This very simple design supports the cool theme well. Then finally, I added some ephemera and other embellishments around the design. That's it!
Second layout I have here today is telling a story about myself.
I had an amazing opportunity to be photographed by a very talented professional in our local flower shop, where one the best Finnish florist created me that fantastic flower crown. Felt like a real princess!
The shooting itself was fun, but the occasion represented me much more. I'm here, I'm ok, I'm happy, I've had my ups and downs and I'm still here, I'm pretty, I'm wise, and I can be what ever I want to be. The alphabets around me are like the endless options I have, and also the starting letters for all the stories I have had in my life. And for the ones I will have in the future!
All the letters are cut with Adore Alpha Die Set and the pretty flowers are cut with Dainty Blossoms Die Set.
Hope you are inspired by these two pages! I had so much fun creating both of them. Happy scrapping!
