Office Hours & Just a little Lovely Mix | Jana Maiwald-McCarthy
Hi everyone, Jana back again and i have two new Layout to share. I mixed Just a little Lovely and Office Hours together and i really love how the pages turned out.
The first Layout is about me and my big love for coffee!
NEED MORE COFFEE
The background were created with the liquid watercolors, i splattered Aquamarine & Emerald City on top and created some fake coffee stain images with a plastic cup and the Espresso watercolor.
The cute cup with the leaves is a Pinkfresh Studio CutFile and will be available very soon. I created some more leaves from a watercolor paper from "Just a little Lovely" and placed them between the white cut. There also some acetate flowers behind them... i love how this turned out!
The colors were inspired by the "caffeine fix" circle and coffe, obviously! I also added some work related items into the mix and created a row of stains and embellishments...
The final touches were some enamel dots and puffy stickers... oh and i need to fill my journaling lines, too!
My second project is about my little one at an IKEA office... so fun!
IKEA Office
My first idea for this Layout was my title... i wanted to place the letters on some patterned papers and i wanted to cut it out with a small border. We went to IKEA the other day and my little one was sitting on that huge desk, with a phone on the ear and a big coffee cup in the hand. He was acting like a busy grown up and it was funny!
The Office Hours ephemera pieces are perfect for this layout. I also fussy cut some black and white flowers from a Just a little Lovely paper and layered them between the journaling cards, which i also cut out from a patterned paper. I really love the dimension here.
I added some matching thread behind some of the elements, mixed some Chipboard stickers between the layers and finished this project with a few enamel dots. I re-sized the white cardstock, distressed the edges and glued it on a patterned paper... so much love for this layout and the pretty collections!
Thanks for stopping by today
Jana
