Happy National Scrapbooking Day!

Welcome to our first National Scrapbooking Day event! We have sponsored and collaborated in the past, but decided that year 5 was time for us to host an event! We are keeping it simple, and hosting a week long "Inspired By" challenge. To make it even more fun, some of our industry partners have sponsored our challenge with more prizes!

What exactly is National Scrapbooking Day? A quick Google search provides this answer:

Each year on the first Saturday in May, National Scrapbook Day is observed.  This day will gather thousands of people all over the country to celebrate with scrapbooking parties and share their talents with others. Scrapbooking dates back to the 15th century.

Scrapbooking is a method for preserving family history, personal mementos, photographs, newspaper clippings, artwork, and other memorabilia.

Journaling is often included to describe the journey or to maintain the story for future generations.  Scrapbooking has become a popular hobby and those who enjoy it may develop a strong social network, swapping tools, advice, and techniques.  They often gather together at each others’ homes and even join each other at conventions or retreats.

CHALLENGE INFO:

We've got such an amazing creative team, and your challenge is to be "INSPIRED BY" them! I've picked my favorite project from each team member from this year - you just pick which one and what you are inspired by! It's up to you to choose how to be inspired: you can use the projects as a sketch, color palette, or as your theme/subject...the possibilities are endless! Check them out:

Rules:

1. Create a new memory keeping project using the challenge posted above. While it is fine if you use items from other companies, the focus should be on Pinkfresh Studio product.
2. Post your project to your personal blog, Instagram or online gallery. Please make sure you link back directly to the challenge.
   
3. Add a direct link to your project using the InLinkz below.

Deadline:
Get your creations linked up by Friday, May 10th at 5:00pm CST. Winners will be announced on Saturday, May 11th.
