I am so excited to be sharing my first layout using the beautiful new My Favorite Story collection. I am so in love with all three of the new collections! Each totally different and I love that! My Favorite Story has beautiful florals, pretty colors and a punch of black which I absolutely love! Anything with black and white stripes just makes my heart happy! I knew I had to use the black and white stripe paper in this collection on my first layout.

I started with a piece of white cardstock and added some black splatter. Once it was dry I added a two strips of pattern paper to the left side of the white cardstock. I did distress the edges of the pattern paper for some texture and also added some stitching with my sewing machine.

My Favorite Story has a floral ephemera pack that is absoluety beautiful and my favorite thing from this collection besides the black and white paper! I used a lot of the floral pieces on this layout adding them to the left of the layout and some to the right of my photo. I wanted to really make these florals stand out on my page and kind of frame my photo. I love how it turned out. Here is a look at my completed layout.

For my second layout this  month I created a 12x12 layout for our January  challenge. Check out the challenge tab on the website for all the details and to link up this month! My layout was inspired by out September 2019 challenge.

I wanted to play around with the beautiful One Fine Day paper and some of the Pinkfresh Studio inks!

I fussy cut the top part of the patter paper and adhered to a piece of white cardstock. I pulled out the Fairy Dust, Rise and Shine and Indian Summer ink cubes. I added some ink to an acrylic block and used my paint brush to mix in some water. I then added splatters around my page in colors to match the One Fine Day paper.
