Moments that Matter, featuring Days of Splendor | Jung A

Moments that Matter, featuring Days of Splendor | Jung A

Hello Pinkfresh Studio friends!  It's Jung here, and today I'm sharing another layout that I created using the new Days of Splendor collection.

For this layout, I'm documenting my daughter's NJHS induction ceremony from last fall.

When I saw all the frames on the My Favorite pattern paper, I knew that I would be fussy cutting them out.

First to add a little bit of interest to my white background, I used the Pinkfresh Studio Diamond Tiles background rubber stamp with Sky Blue ink. I also smushed down the sky blue ink and Olive ink onto some packaging, watered it down a little bit, and added some ink splatters.

Next, I adhered some of the frames to the left side of the layout. I glued some directly to the background, and added machine stitching, while I adhered others with foam squares.

Once I was happy with the placement, I added my photo. I used some paper layers under my photo for some interest. I decided that I wanted to add my title to some of the negative space in the photo. I used a combination of the mini puffy alpha as well as the more script alpha. I got the title idea from the cut apart pattern paper; there was a piece that said "moments that matter," and I thought it was the perfect title.

Once all the big pieces were in place, I started embellishing the frames and around the photo.

I added some floral ephemerapuffy stickersstickerschipboard flair, and enamel dots. I also added some pieces that I fussy cut from the Oh So Delightful pattern paper.

For added interest, I added staples, and machine stitching. I also added a little bit of sparkle with a glitter pen to some of the ephemera.

I love how this collection is so perfect for fall photos! I'm super happy with how my layout turned out, and I hope I've inspired you to get creative.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful day!
