Mixing Happy Heart Collection and Rainbow Floral Washi | Susi Becerra

Mixing Happy Heart Collection and Rainbow Floral Washi | Susi Becerra

Hello crafty friends! It's Susi here today sharing with you a new 12 x 12 scrapbook Layout. I love mix and match papers from different collections and combine other products or materials with them. To create my Layout I've used the Happy Heart collection and the gorgeous Rainbow Floral Washi from Pinkfresh Studio. They match perfectly!

Let's get started!

To make this Layout  we are going to need three white cardstocks, the Happiness Bloom paper from Happy Heart collection, embellishments and the Rainbow Floral Washi.

First off, we are going to cut a rectangle of 5 1/4 " w x 4 1/4" h in the botton right of a white cardstock. Next, we are going to place under the window created the section of the Happiness Bloom paper that we'll use as background. We are going to sketch the outline of the window using a pencil and we'll cut that section of the patterned paper.

IMPORTANT : Don't cut exactly along the outline ( Ensure a small margin).

Next, glue the piece of patterned paper on a white cardstock matching it to the window. You must see through the window the patterned paper.

To create dimension we are going to add foam 3D before gluing the cardstock with the window to the base ( cardstock with the patterned paper)

Now, we're going to take our third white cardstock and cut another rectangle whose sides will be 1/4 inches larger. We'll add foam 3D and paste it on top of the second cardstock.

Next, we are going to use the leftover patterned paper to fussy cut the flowers  and place them around the window. I love the effect created!

It's time to complete the decoration and add the beautiful Rainbow floral washi. I used the Rainbow Floral Washi Die to cut some leaves and flowers. I also added some embellishments from the Happy Heart collection and finally I fussy cut butterflies from the Beautiful Moments paper.

The Essentials: Jewels  and black ink splattters are the final touch. I really love with  how this layout turned out.

I hope you like it and inspires you to create a similar  layout using the beautiful  Happy Heart collection and the gorgeous washi tapes from Pinkfresh Studio. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

See you next time!
